There are generally more than 240 sunny days a year in Cancun. Contrary to other tropical zones, Cancun does not have a specific rainy season and the constant breeze makes it an extremely pleasant place, even during the summer.

The weather is nearly perfect year round, in this once sleepy fishing village. The heat traditionally relegated to the tropics is more than tempered by cooling ocean breezes and the effervescent Caribbean.

The average maximum and minimum temperatures are:

• From January to March: 20° - 30° C (68° - 86° F)
• From April to June: 71° - 89° F (22° - 32° C)
• From July to September: 75° - 91° F (24° - 33° C)
• From October to December: 68° - 87° F (20° - 31° C)
